Healthnetconnections delivers a strong financial performance with record turnover
Aldershot-based healthcare and ultrasound innovators Healthnetconnections (HNC) has reported a record seven-figure turnover for its latest financial year – a 5.8 per cent increase compared to the previous year.
The strong financial results come despite the continued challenges and restrictions posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
A number of challenges were presented during the course of 2020, including the team going fully remote due to lockdown restrictions, the shifting needs of clients and visits and interactions with key personnel at NHS Trusts across the UK severely limited due to the nature of COVID-19.
Despite the potential problems that the pandemic presented, confidence and trust from existing clients in the healthcare and ultrasound technologies provided by HNC, combined with a number of new business wins meant the company maintained a strong order book whilst also allowing it to grow.
HNC Managing Director, Jonathan Raife, said: “Although the pandemic has created a particularly challenging environment for many businesses across the UK, the likes of which none of us had ever experienced before, I’m proud of the work of the entire HNC team in achieving these results.
“The pandemic meant that a number of NHS Trusts looked to technology to help them deliver vital services at a trying time, including ultrasounds. From our existing relationships and excellent track record of quality and customer care, we were well positioned to help those Trusts continue to treat and care for patients throughout 2020, 2021 and into 2022.
“We’re well underway with plans to build on our success from the past 12 months and our strong financial results allow us to do just that. We’re looking forward to continued positive results for HNC in the year ahead.”
