In the second of the series, we have caught up with Client Services Director, Christian McBride.
How long have you worked at HNC?
For over 13 years now.
What is your job title?
My role is Client Services Director.
What are your main responsibilities and duties at HNC?
Day-to-day I am responsible for managing our sales and account management team.
Though, having performed a variety of roles for the company over the years, I still tend to have my fingers in a lot of pies!
What does an average week look like for you?
The typical week has changed considerably since the pandemic. It still consists of several
customer and partner meetings, presentations and demos but this is primarily handled remotely now. It’s nice to get out and see civilisation every now and again!
What do you enjoy most about working at HNC?
We have a great group of people at HNC that I’m very happy and fortunate to work
How has the business developed since you started?
A lot! We’ve come a long way over the last 13 years and the business is thriving.
Is there anything upcoming that you are particularly excited about for the future?
I’m very excited about breaking into new areas of ultrasound and also to see how new technologies such as AI can help improve care in the future.
Where do you think you will be in five years’ time?
By that time we won’t be far off 20 years since we started the company. So hopefully I’ll be looking back on another successful period and proud of our team who’s hard work makes it possible. I’m sure I’ll be feeling pretty old as well!
